When they joined CIDA many of the students had never even touched a computer, or knew anything about what a stock market was. Now they decisively outperform privileged students in the conventional education system. Their scores on nationally recognised courses are in the 90 to 100% range. In 2004 the first wave of graduates emerged, and they're already fantastic catalysts. Not only passing their exams, but acting as an inspiration to hundreds of thousands of people around Africa. They are each role models to their schools and communities in over 1,000 locations across South Africa.
