Pushing it further
During term holiday periods we run a community outreach programme for the students – Extranet. This programme takes students to their hometowns during the breaks so that they can teach groups of people about money management basics, small business creation and HIV/AIDS health awareness. When the students go back to their villages and townships they are creating a ripple effect, meaning hundreds more people can learn. So far over 500,000 people have received this outreach education, creating an Extra-ordinary Net of better-informed communities.
