On the bridge
I stay in the area Braamfontien on 46 De Korte Street in Johannesburg. Every day I walk half an hour to school to attend lectures, and I pass this bridge on the way. It is named after the former president of South Africa, Mr. Nelson Mandela. Mr. Nelson Mandela to me is the world’s icon. He fought for the freedom of this country and he is trying all his best to ensure that the country is not going back to that situation again. I got the opportunity to meet him when Sir Richard Branson was launching the Branson School of Entrepreneurship late last year. I was not even believing that I met the man who made South Africa what it is today.
I live with two gentlemen who are from Limpopo whereas I am from North-West. The place is almost ok now because along the year it was under renovation. We have good working showers, clean and hygienic toilets, a clean kitchen and also there are people who are working in the place to make sure that it is clean.
I get to CIDA in time for lectures which start at 9:30 in the morning and continue until 12:30 midday. The courses that I have done to date are: Mathematics, Business Management, Business Communication, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Accounting, and Marketing. Currently I’m doing Human Resource Management together with Corporate Finance.

At the ICT Academy
Within CIDA City Campus there is an ICT Academy that deals with the depth of the computers, cables and programming. To be part of this Academy, I had to sit for a 5-hour assessment and pass with at least 80%. The lectures are every Friday from 13:00 until 17:30 and Saturdays from 08:00 in the morning until 17:00.
I like learning about Information Technology because I want to be informed about new technologies which are being developed and also how they work The courses that I have already passed in the Academy are: ICDL (International Computers Driving Licence) and A+ International Certification (Both Hardware and Operating System). I am currently doing Network+. I am intending to specialize in Sun Microsystems\Programming next year.
In this photo, I am configuring the IT cables so that they can work well will others, as they were conflicting with their IRQ’s (Interrupt Requests).

My (future) car
I have always dreamt to have a black Mercedes Benz, it was difficult for me to see which model and other features of the particular car, because of the fact that I come from a rural area where you would see such car when there are top functions, and mostly driven by only white people. I am working very hard so that to fulfil my dream and work as a manager of an IT (Information Technology) Company.
